Welcome to our Teasdale cabin with STUNNING views everywhere you turn!
After your epic days spent exploring the surrounding natural wonders, you can return to a brand new, yet rustic cabin. Then on to cook a nice meal in the kitchen, or run back to Torrey (4 miles) for a prepared meal. Then, let the evening show begin by watching a colorful sunset bounce off the red rock bluffs, relax by a crackling fire and enjoy a magical night under the stars. Away from the bright lights of large cities, Teasdale’s night sky is a wonder to behold, it’s millions of stars shining bright and clear. Afterwards, drift off to sleep in a comfortable bed in anticipation of the next day’s discovery.
The red rock country with spectacular views lies at the heart of the most stunning country imaginable. Hike, climb, ride, photograph, and scramble around our wonderful backyard — Capitol Reef. We are centrally located between Utah’s other national parks — Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands and, of course, Zion. The cabin is a great place to experience the best of Utah’s stunning landscapes and a perfect base camp for your southern Utah adventure. Capitol Reef National Park and Utah’s Big 5 National Parks are best explored over multiple days. The location is breathtaking, and the overall experience, well…unforgettable.
Wonderful indoor and outdoor space. Easy access but complete privacy just minutes from Torrey's shops and restaurants, Boulder Mountain's trails and Capitol Reef's awe-inspiring landscapes. Nested in the secluded, rural town of Teasdale, Utah, this brand new home commands almost 360º views and is tastefully decorated with a contemporary rustic touch.
Just minutes from Capitol Reef National Park, you can explore almost 100 miles of natural wonders, including cliffs, canyons, domes and natural bridges. From Hickman’s Bridge and Fishlake National Forest to Anasazi State Park and the Prehistoric Petroglyph, there are many other stunning sights to see and they’re all within about an hour of this serene, out-of-the way respite. Seasonal nightlife includes local natural history, culture, and live music in nearby Torrey (4 scenic minutes -- a sweet, tree-lined village). Oh, and the fishing -- don't forget the winding Fremont River and the big brookies of the Boulder Mountains and Fish Lake (Fishlake National Forest). The small town of Bicknell is also nearby.
Enjoy the beauty and serenity of being off the beaten path, and yet just off Scenic Byway 12, designated as one of the “World’s 10 Most Beautiful Highways.” An area where you can delight in hiking, backpacking, canyoneering and photo tours.
After you’ve explored Capitol Reef and the other National Parks--time permitting you can check out the newly announced National Monuments:
• Escalante Canyons National Monument
• Kaiparowits National Monument
• Grand Staircase National Monument
• Indian Creek National Monument
• Shash Jaa National Monument
Majestic views of The Boulder Mountains, red rock cliffs and more peace and quiet than you'll know what to do with. Sweeping views of red rock and mountains. Take morning/evening walks in our little hamlet/neighborhood.
The joy of travel involves getting away from it all, but never has the very notion of escape seemed quite as liberating as it does here. I hope your time at our home, surrounded by the beauty of dramatic red rock and starry nights will inspire you to find a stillness, away from the busyness of life.
